We all know Tinder, the digital app that brings thousands of people from over the world together to create love matches, just by letting them judge each others pictures. If its popularity is something good is open for discussion but you can not deny its possibilities.
Earlier this year (august), Emil Stoev, a bulgarian application developer and project manager, has created a more serious platform to bring people together and make matches; CoNomads.

What is it? A nomad is a member of a group who have no fixed homes and move from one place to another. The word ācoā is often used to describe partnership. These two words say it all; CoNomads connects people who travel a lot. The digital platform was especially designed for those who are running there own businesses.
When you sign up you will have to fill in some question about your personality. They will not ask you questions about your favorite colour or your hobbies, but only about those things that tell others what kind of roommate you would be. In my case that would be messy, always in a rush when it comes to morningsā¦, but this is not about me!
Apart from your characteristics, people can also see your present and next location. This way two or more likeminded people who are going to the same place can find each other and perhaps decide to travel together. They then donāt have to be lonely during their trip and can even inspire one another while working on their businesses.

Why is it cool? Of course the internet already gave people the possibility to read about each others enterprises and social media even made it possible to connect those entrepreneurs but CoNomads takes connecting to the next level. CoNomads not only brings people together by using the digital world but gives them the chance to meet and even work together in the real world. Itās a way of taking your business to the next level while meeting new friends.
According to the GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) Global Report 2014 the 25-35 age group are the most active persons in early entrepreneurial activity, so they will probably be the first users of this social network. in the future more youth might sign up, because the report also states that younger people are 1.6 times more likely to want to start their own business then adults. This gives CoNomads a higher future potential because it could be really helpful for the next generation of business owners.
I would link CoNomads to the trend Togetherness&Inline because it shows one of the unlimited amount of ways to use the online world for economic advantages (bettering your company) and social contact (meeting likeminded individuals).
